Vans make up the majority of our customers’ fleets at about half of all vehicles registered, with cars not far behind at around 45%.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, our customers’ top three brand choices for both cars and vans are Ford, Vauxhall and VW, the models they pick being driven by a combination of functionality, reliability and efficiency. This is particularly the case for cars where each of the top three is amongst the top models for fuel efficiency and low carbon tech in their respective classes. Hardly surprising, given HMRC’s obvious encouragement to company car drivers to choose lower CO2 models.

It’ll be interesting to see how this picture changes – if at all – over the year ahead. If you’re planning to renew parts of your fleet, or to add to it, we'd love to hear your thoughts about how you’ll choose what to buy. And if you already own one of the current top three, we’d love to hear what you think. Help other readers by leaving your review here.

While the overwhelming majority of our customers’ vehicles are classic motorway, A-road and urban workhorses, some have gone with some rather more exotic options for their choice of company wheels.

Mentioning no names, there are 19 Maseratis, 19 Ferraris, 35 Bentleys, six McLaren MP4 Spiders and a beautiful V12 Lamborghini Aventador. And quite a flock of two-wheelers – from the urban practicality of the Piaggio scooter, through 12 Harleys and a Royal Enfield Continental GT. Nice.

We’ll have more on some of the more ‘individual’ customers’ vehicle choices next time. But in the meantime, do get in touch and let us know what you have in mind for your next round of fleet vehicles.
